Dietitians Association of Nigeria Membership Portal
1. FULL MEMBERSHIP:
Only a Dietitian- Nutritionist may become a full member of the Association
Anyone with a Nutrition and Dietetics degree or equivalent (HND) + PGD in Nigeria or abroad.
Full membership in the Association requires completion of a 12-month internship in an approved dietetics department and success in the Test of Professional Competence (TOPC).
Membership with foreign Dietetics Associations may exempt TOPC after evaluation of certificates by the Nigerian Dietitians Association credentialing committee.
2. ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: Anyone with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a Nigerian or foreign university, or equivalent qualifications (HND) with PGD and Msc in Nutrition and Dietetics.
3. STUDENT MEMBERSHIP:
Student membership is mandatory for all undergraduates of Nutrition and Dietetics
To apply for student membership, provide proof of current tertiary institution registration and a supporting letter from the Department head.
2. ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: Anyone with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a Nigerian or foreign university, or equivalent qualifications (HND) with PGD and Msc in Nutrition and Dietetics.
3. STUDENT MEMBERSHIP:
4. CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP: Corporate members are recognized institutions such as research institutes, Companies, firms Societies, and other bodies as may contribute to the furtherance of Nutrition and Dietetics.
5. LIFE MEMBERSHIP: Life membership may be conferred on any full member who in the opinion of the council has sufficiently contributed to the attainment of the objectives and aims of the Association
6. HONORARY MEMBERSHIP: A distinguished person may be elected as an honorary member of the Association if in the opinion of the council he/she is in a position to contribute to the aims and objectives of the Association.
------------- Note: All admission into full, Associate membership of the Association is subject to due completion of the Association’s membership application forms.
5. LIFE MEMBERSHIP: Life membership may be conferred on any full member who in the opinion of the council has sufficiently contributed to the attainment of the objectives and aims of the Association
6. HONORARY MEMBERSHIP: A distinguished person may be elected as an honorary member of the Association if in the opinion of the council he/she is in a position to contribute to the aims and objectives of the Association.
