2024 DAN Conference Call for Abstract

Dear distinguished members of DAN, in preparation for our upcoming scientific conference and annual general meeting, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) hereby cordially invites you to submit your abstracts for the conference holding in Imo State on the 2nd - 6th July 2024

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

THEME: 

Navigating Nutritional challenges in a depressed economy towards sustainable development goals for healthier communities.

SUB-THEMES:

1. Addressing Malnutrition: Interventions and programs with a focus on vulnerable groups.
2. Community Nutrition Based Engagement and Collaboration for sustainable development and improved nutrition outcomes.
3. Promoting Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Initiatives for environmentally friendly farming and sustainable food production.
4. Innovative Nutritional Strategies for providing adequate nutrition for enhanced nutritional outcomes in resource-scarce environments.
5. Nutrition Education and Behaviour Change Strategies for long-term health benefits of individuals and communities.
6. Nutrition Assessment methods and tools for nutritional status and dietary needs at individual and population levels.
7. Use of innovative technologies in Dietetic practice.

Abstract Structure

Title: The title should indicate the abstract content. Company or trade names, special symbols, characters, and uncommon abbreviations are prohibited.

Content: The abstract body should not exceed 250 words. Please do not include tables or graphs. Content must be organized in the following structure:

Abstracts submitted will be reviewed by the Publications/Scientific Committee who will select and determine the final mode of presentation either in oral or poster format.
